From Kensington Brewing Co.;

As a nod to the dozen or so fruit stands that line the streets of Kensington Market, we’ve brewed a light and crisp wheat beer fermented with 100% all natural watermelon juice. We use a British ale yeast to impart a delicate floral aroma to compliment notes of juicy watermelon. Watermelon was added during secondary fermentation and results in a mild and enjoyable watermelon aroma and flavour.

Appearance | Hazy, light yellow, with small head.

Smell | Citrus, grains, and hints of fruit.

Taste | Hints of watermelon, citrus, and grains.

Aftertaste | Wet finish with lingering notes of citrus and hint of watermelon.

Overall |  The seasonal ale from Kensington Brewing returns!    It’s Summer in a Tallboy!   The can’s design screams Summer with its bright colours.  The mellow taste of this year’s batch makes it more pleasing to the palate than last year’s. Kensington is one of The Brew Head’s favourites with its flagship ale, Augusta Ale and its hoppier FishEYE-PA.  These guys can’t do anything wrong.  Please note that this ale is exclusively at The Beer Store, so head on over there and pick up a Summer in a Tallboy before Summer is over!
