The antlers of the northern deer are a renewable symbol of strength and health. Our 10 Point India Pale Ale is a full-bodied celebration of hoppy flavour, the aroma of malt, and sturdy notes of caramel and roasted barley. Behold the beauty and drink it in.
Appearance | Clear amber-copper with a off-white head.
Smell | Caramel, notes of citrus, and subtle notes of pine.
Taste | Malts (Sweet, Toasted), citrus, and subtle bitterness.
Overall | Camping just got made a little easier. From Lake of Bays Brewing Co., this is the 10 Point India Pale Ale.
Out of the tallboy pours a clear amber-copper colour with a off-white head that laces the glass. The aroma is citrusy, caramel, and pine. The taste is a sweet and citrusy backbone with malts and subtle notes of nuttiness. This is a sweet and citrusy offering from Lake of Bays. But all in all, this would be great to have while camping up north especially Algonquin Park. Originally, this was a seasonal offering in 750ml bottles but somebody at Lake of Bays said…’Hey, let’s make this one year-round and in 473ml tallboys!’, great move by these guys. Camping up north just got made easier!
And you know what? Since 10 Point made the transition to the tallboys, it’s more…refreshing!
Price | $2.95
Size | 473ml Tallboy
Note: Thanks to Lake of Bays Brewing Company for supplying The Brew Head a tallboy of 10 Point IPA for review. Thanks Tamsen!
