From Lake of Bays Brewing Co.,

Brewed in honour of the pioneers who built the roads and rails of the North, this crisp golden lager pays tribute to our hometown of Baysville, Ontario. Handcrafted with fresh Lake of Bays water, noble hops and Canadian malts, Rock Cut truly earns its place in our line up of premium craft brews.

Appearance | Clear golden orange with a big head that disappears quickly.

Smell | Grains, malts, honey, grassy, and toasted biscuit.

Taste | Grassy, sweet malts, grainy, fruit, and faint bitterness.

Aftertaste | Honey, grains, and fruit (berries?)

Overall | Rock Cut Baysville Lager is surprisingly better than one expected it to be.  It’s a light-bodied brew that is easily sessionable.   There’s a grainy yet crisp and refreshing taste when sipping this brew.   This brew would be great for camping in the Muskokas or on the docks in a Muskoka chair.   It does its job of being a light-bodied brew.

Food Pairing | Burgers, BBQ Chicken, and Sausages.
