Following the great success of its first year celebration of German beers, Bandit Brewery’s Oktoberfest returns on September 16th, 2017.

Toronto, ON (September 5th, 2017) — Bandit Brewery is thrilled to announce the return of Bandit Oktoberfest, a celebration of German music, food and most importantly, beer. Paying tribute to one of its original inspirations, the classic German beer gardens, Bandit will bring people together on their large communal tables to celebrate the Bavarian festival, whose roots date back to the early 1800s.

After the great reception of Bandit Oktoberfest 2016, the brewery team has taken upon themselves to develop two German classic beers as an addition to the daily Bandit beer lineup. For this year’s festivities Bandit will be releasing a brand new Kolsch, a German lagered ale, as well as a dark version of their popular Hoppelgänger, a dark lager dry hopped with German hops. A menu of classic Germanic fare such as pretzels, currywurst, bratwurst and sauerkraut will be served on the patio BBQ. Bandit Oktoberfest will also see the return of The Beer Barrel Band, who will provide patrons with all the classic “Oompah” songs and will lead them in a series of cheers and lots of “Prost”!

“We are thrilled to have our patrons joining us once again for our favourite holiday,” remarked Stephane Dubois, owner of Bandit Brewery. “Last year’s celebration was a really fun night filled with laughs, friends and great beer. We’re certain that Bandit Oktoberfest 2017 will be an even more memorable time for our friends and our staff.“

Bandit Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 16th from 6 pm – 10 pm. The new Oktoberfest beer releases will be available on tap and in the bottle shop on the same day.

Lederhosen encouraged!
